Role overview
A progressive organisation in Cork is looking to appoint a Compensation & Benefits Partner through an exclusive partnership with Barden. The role suits someone with solid HR analytics and reward experience who can help shape and mature the company’s pay and benefits approach during an important phase of growth.
You will work alongside an experienced HR leader who values practical best practice, and you’ll be part of a collaborative HR team where a structured, analytical way of working and fresh ideas will be appreciated.
Key responsibilities
- Own the organisation’s compensation and benefits activities end to end.
- Help design, improve and implement new reward frameworks.
- Work with equity-based compensation arrangements, including RSUs, PSUs and other share-linked plans.
- Review HR data and build reports in advanced Excel to inform decisions.
- Spot ways to streamline processes and strengthen best-practice standards across the function.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance colleagues on reward and compensation projects.
- As the role develops, widen your scope into talent partnering and HR partnering work, including talent and performance initiatives.
Candidate profile
- Background in HR, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, or a closely related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability, with advanced Excel skills.
- Comfortable operating in a changing environment and bringing order to developing processes.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive mindset and a real interest in improving existing ways of working.
- Experience with equity reward or share-based compensation plans is useful but not mandatory.
- Exposure to HR frameworks, performance management or talent management would be an advantage.
