A new MECCA store will soon open in Townsville, Queensland, featuring a spacious 500sqm layout including eight makeup stations, two skin treatment beds, and a luxurious Perfumeria. This space caters to both locals and visitors, designed for occasions from everyday relaxation to special outings.

Role Overview

MECCA is inviting expressions of interest from talented Colour Specialists to join the vibrant Townsville team. This role centers on performing professional makeup applications and acting as the in-store expert on makeup products, ensuring customers leave with confidence and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering makeup application services for customers, ranging from natural looks to full glam transformations.
• Serving as the resident makeup authority within the store, assisting customers to select products best suited to their needs and preferences.
• Collaborating with team members to provide an outstanding and welcoming customer experience throughout the store environment.

Success Indicators

• Demonstrated previous experience applying professional-grade makeup adeptly and efficiently, managing consecutive appointments within busy trading periods.
• Competence in crafting current trending makeup styles including winged and graphic eyeliner, dewy skin effects, smoky eyes, and classic red lipstick.
• Committed to creating memorable experiences that help customers embrace and feel exceptional in their skin.
• Ability to mentor colleagues, sharing makeup knowledge to enhance team skills and strengthen the makeup category.
• Exemplifies a positive, inclusive mindset and cooperative team spirit with a proactive attitude.
