Cold Chain Clerk

About the Role

Join Silver Fern Farms Ltd as a Cold Chain Shipping Clerk where you will ensure the precise and efficient dispatch of products in adherence to both customer specifications and regulatory standards. Your duties will include managing electronic shipping certifications, preparing necessary export documents, and aiding the loading and dispatch processes for shipments destined domestically and internationally.

In direct collaboration with the Shipping Supervisor, Loadout Team Leader, transport operators, and MPI officials, you will ensure that all products depart the site with appropriate certification and documentation, contributing to the smooth operation of daily logistics functions.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating shipping instructions, supporting inventory oversight, organising transport logistics, and guaranteeing dispatch tasks are completed promptly and correctly.

The role operates on a weekday shift from Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.30pm, with an expectation of flexibility as required.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in administrative, logistics, shipping, dispatch, or related operational support roles
• Excellent communication skills encompassing written, verbal, and interpersonal interactions
• Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage several priorities efficiently
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable working across various software systems
• Proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous process improvement
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and external partners
