Role Overview
The Co-Owner position is a full-time role based in Ogun State, Nigeria. It involves sharing leadership responsibilities to guide the strategic vision and development of the platform. Daily tasks include enhancing the company's value proposition, driving user and partner engagement, managing relationships with mentors and hiring authorities, supporting marketing efforts, maintaining the company’s social media presence, and representing the brand at events and partnerships. This role also contributes to financial planning, tracking business performance, and operational decision-making to drive sustainable growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication capabilities to articulate complex ideas clearly and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing to elevate partner and user outreach and foster revenue expansion through strategic initiatives.
- Experience in product development to convert user feedback into actionable features and manage the product roadmap effectively.
- Skills in social media and digital engagement to grow the platform’s community and promote its mission effectively online.
- A background in startup environments or leadership roles with accountability for decision-making and outcomes.
- Familiarity with the tech talent ecosystem, mentorship frameworks, or early career advancement programs is highly advantageous.
- Basic financial knowledge including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Business, Marketing, or Technology is preferred but not mandatory.
