Position Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Remote Clinical Support Specialist to join a growing healthcare organization dedicated to enhancing patient health outcomes by providing proactive outreach, clinical assistance, and care coordination. This fully remote, patient-interactive role offers a chance to positively influence patient healthcare experiences while collaborating closely with pharmacists, clinical staff, and care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform outbound patient outreach representing healthcare programs and insurers to promote medication adherence, reviews, care coordination, and other engagement efforts.
• Handle a large volume of incoming and outgoing calls effectively while maintaining superior customer service and meeting productivity goals.
• Provide education to patients regarding healthcare programs, services, and support resources designed to optimize health results.
• Collect, confirm, and precisely record patient and provider data within company information systems.
• Arrange telephonic and virtual consultations between patients and pharmacists or other clinical professionals.
• Collaborate with patients, healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to address medication or healthcare-related issues.
• Maintain professional and compassionate communications addressing inquiries from patients, providers, and pharmacies.
• Promptly escalate clinical concerns, medication-related problems, or health risks to licensed pharmacists when necessary.
• Support the process of securing referrals, authorizations, and necessary documentation.
