Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Recruiter to become an integral part of our expanding Talent Team. This position specializes in recruiting licensed mental health professionals including LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, PMHNP, among other clinical experts and support staff. The goal is to construct strong pipelines of qualified candidates within the fast-evolving startup environment of Fort Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for licensed clinicians and clinical support personnel, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offer processes.
• Create and implement tailored sourcing strategies that tap into healthcare-specific job boards, professional associations, and license repositories.
• Identify talent through unconventional sourcing channels to attract candidates not typically found via standard methods.
• Collaborate directly with hiring managers to capture role-specific criteria, expected caseloads, and ideal candidate characteristics.
• Perform detailed candidate evaluations, including verification of licenses, assessment of clinical experience, and alignment with Fort Health’s mission and values.
• Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics dedicated to clinical hires such as time-to-fill, sourcing channel effectiveness, and retention statistics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing standards, scope of practice laws, and credentialing requirements across various states.
• Work closely with the talent acquisition team to refine recruitment processes and enhance candidate experiences.
• Boost Fort Health’s recruitment brand through strategic creation of content, engagement on social media platforms, and promotion of employee referral initiatives alongside the Growth team.
• Contribute to specialized recruiting projects as the company expands and enters new markets.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in full-cycle clinical recruitment focusing on licensed mental health professionals.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a startup setting demonstrated by the capability to succeed in dynamic and ambiguous conditions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various clinical licenses such as LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PMHNP, and their professional practice boundaries.
• Proven expertise in sourcing candidates through healthcare-focused platforms and professional networks.
• Skill in conducting behavioral interviews and evaluating clinical skillsets.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, preferably Ashby and Indeed.
• Exceptional organizational abilities to manage several complex candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to nurture relationships with clinical professionals.
• A strategic and analytical approach to recruitment, able to devise innovative sourcing methods for niche clinical roles.

Additional Information

This is a remote, full-time role offering an annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000. Fort Health is committed to expanding our reach and scaling our talent acquisition to build a robust team in support of children’s mental health care.
