Role Overview
The Clinical Educator will lead the design, development, and deployment of orientation and ongoing clinical education programs targeted at newly hired clinical staff. These teams include nurse practitioners, registered nurses, dietitians, medical assistants, care coordinators, social workers, pharmacists, and additional healthcare professionals. Training will be grounded in evidence-based clinical guidelines and adult learning principles. This position supports multiple markets across the nation and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Clinical Informatics & Education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver educational sessions to individuals and groups, ensuring positive learning experiences.
- Create interactive training materials utilizing multimedia such as videos, e-learning modules, and live presentations.
- Collaborate to develop clinical programs that fulfill organizational requirements.
- Analyze workflows to identify areas for educational improvement.
- Implement initiatives to enhance clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
- Act as a subject matter expert on clinical topics and technology platforms relevant to care delivery, coordination, and reporting (including EHR systems).
- Communicate updates on technical tools and programs; develop supportive learning resources.
- Design tailored one-on-one training plans with specific measurable goals to track outcomes.
- Build trust with clinical teams and leaders to promote quality and efficiency in care delivery.
- Engage in in-person meetings with stakeholders and participate in business and patient-centered events, including necessary travel.
- Provide direct patient care across multiple settings, including clinics, patient homes, and virtual environments; this includes physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, education, or healthcare administration.
- At least four years of experience developing curriculum and providing education in clinical environments.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license to support travel between offices, clinics, and patient residences.
- Internet connection with minimum speeds of 3.8 Mbps download and 3.0 Mbps upload, with stable latency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over five years of clinical experience.
- Minimum two years serving as a preceptor for clinical students or new hires.
- At least two years of experience related to nephrology or dialysis care.
- Two or more years of case management experience.
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD or equivalent electronic health records, plus Salesforce Health Cloud or similar care management platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Annual salary ranging from $85,500 to $104,000, adjusted according to location, experience, and qualifications.
