Role Overview
We seek a diligent and trustworthy Cleaner to perform cleaning duties at residential rental properties. Tasks include move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties for listing readiness. This role suits an experienced professional who is organized, can work independently, follows checklists precisely, and documents completed work through clear photos and notes. Additionally, the applicant must identify any property issues needing attention before showings or move-ins.
Primary Duties
- Conduct cleaning appointments at rental residences including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation cleans
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures
- Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items as required
- Wipe down countertops, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all flooring
- Clean interiors of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers
- Spot areas that require extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up
- Take clear before-and-after photos and video documentation of cleaned properties
- Provide detailed updates, notes, photos, and videos post-visit
- Communicate professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants (when applicable), and internal team members
- Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details

- Prior experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards
- Own reliable transportation for travel between locations
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment
- Ability to work independently at residential properties
- An iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone featuring a high-quality camera
- Confidence in capturing clear photos and videos documenting cleaning work
- Skill in writing concise notes and submitting visit updates
- Proven ability to operate with minimal supervision
- Professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and keen attention to detail
- Capability to follow detailed checklists and property access instructions
- Effective, respectful communication with landlords, applicants, tenants as applicable, and team members
Preferred Experience
- Background in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning
- Experience preparing rental homes for photos, showings, inspections, or move-ins
- Ability to identify property damage, maintenance issues, debris removal needs, pest concerns, access difficulties, or hazards
- Experience working independently in the field for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home service firms
