Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-conscious Cleaner to handle residential rental properties by performing thorough cleaning services including move-in, move-out, turnover cleanings, and preparing listings for showing readiness. The candidate should be professional, autonomous, and skilled at adhering to cleaning checklists, documenting their work, and identifying any property issues requiring follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential rental properties including move-in, move-out, rental turnover, and listing preparation cleanings.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks adhering to company standards across kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items as necessary.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and ensure floors are clean and polished.
• Clean interiors of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
• Identify areas that need extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up actions.
• Document work thoroughly by capturing clear before-and-after photos and videos.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning visit.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with landlords, applicants, tenants (where applicable), and internal team members.
• Follow detailed company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment guidelines.

General Cleaning Tasks May Include

• Move-in and move-out cleaning services
• Rental turnover and deep cleaning
• Kitchen, bathroom, and appliance cleaning
• Floor care and dusting/surface cleaning
• Cabinet, drawer, window sill, and baseboard cleaning
• Garbage and debris removal
• Preparing properties for photos, showings, inspections, or move-in readiness

Requirements

• Previous experience in roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner.
• Strong familiarity with residential cleaning standards and best practices.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
• Comfort with independently accessing and cleaning residential rental properties.
• Ownership of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (iPhone 13 or equivalent) for documentation purposes.
• Capability to take clear photos and videos documenting completed work.
• Ability to write comprehensive notes and submit updates post-visit.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and property access details thoroughly.
• Effective and respectful communication skills with landlords, applicants, tenants, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Prior work preparing rental properties for photos, showings, inspections, or move-ins.
• Aptitude for identifying property damages, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access limitations, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in the field with property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.

Additional Information

This position concentrates primarily on cleaning and preparing listings for rental readiness. Cleaners are responsible for reporting any observed damages, maintenance issues, junk removal requirements, pest concerns, access problems, or hazardous conditions to ensure timely follow-up by the appropriate teams.
