About the Role
Axis Bank is recruiting for the position of CASA Sales Officer within the Retail Liabilities / Branch Banking department. This is a full-time, on-roll position ideal for candidates with any graduate qualification. Both freshers and those with up to 5 years of experience in sales, banking, or financial services are encouraged to apply, with preference given to those with backgrounds in banking, CASA, insurance, or field sales.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual CTC ranging from ₹2.16 Lakhs per annum
- Monthly in-hand salary between ₹15,000 and ₹18,000
- Performance incentives potentially reaching ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 or more per month based on targets
- Additional benefits including Provident Fund, ESIC where applicable, medical insurance, paid leaves, and performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively acquire new customers for Savings and Current Accounts
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and local marketing initiatives
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Promote and cross-sell various banking products like Fixed Deposits, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Insurance, and Investment Products
- Achieve monthly sales and business targets consistently
- Ensure compliance by maintaining proper KYC documentation
- Collaborate effectively with branch staff to facilitate smooth customer onboarding
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Any graduate degree is mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong sales and negotiation abilities
- Capacity to work effectively in field sales scenarios
- Basic understanding of banking products
- Proficiency in the local language is a plus
Work Schedule
Workdays extend from Monday to Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some variations by branch. Employees usually get the second and fourth Saturdays off along with all Sundays, adhering to bank policy at many locations.
