Overview

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance professionals to join our team at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and innovative maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed within the hotel premises.
• Handle daily carpentry-related maintenance issues occurring in the building.
• Construct and fix shelving units and cabinets efficiently.
• Repair and install door locks, security fixtures, window frames, and glazing components.
• Operate woodworking machinery and perform minor general building tasks.
• Remove damaged or faulty parts of wooden structures and execute repairs or replacements using appropriate tools.
• Apply finishing techniques to woodwork and wallboard surfaces including painting and paneling.
• Fill and smooth cracks or other imperfections in plaster or plasterboard surfaces using plastering and sanding tools.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical regulations and safety standards throughout all responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

A high school diploma with proven carpentry skills is preferred, alongside practical knowledge in building maintenance and workplace safety practices including safe lifting and handling. Competence in English and problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify system faults are essential.
