About Heritage Lifecare and Annie Brydon Lifecare

Role Overview
This is a permanent full-time position requiring 32 or more hours weekly with varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends. The hourly remuneration is NZD 31.23. The key responsibility is providing high-quality care in a compassionate, patient, and friendly environment to enhance residents' well-being at Annie Brydon Lifecare.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to residents ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain a supportive living environment.
- Adapt to different shift schedules including weekend and night duties.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent diploma such as a Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing (local or international credentials acceptable).
- At least six months of prior caregiving experience, preferably within aged care settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills paired with effective problem-solving abilities.
- A genuine desire to assist others, demonstrated by a friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
