Position Overview
Join KIMS Hospital as a Care Support Worker at the Sevenoaks Medical Centre in Kent, England. This permanent full-time role involves supporting consultants and nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care within the outpatient Medical Centre.
Working Hours and Salary
The role requires 40 hours weekly, scheduled Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM. The annual salary is £26,436.80.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, taking responsibility for personal actions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight before clinic sessions.
- Prepare necessary equipment for treatments and sessions.
- Assist consultants and nurses with procedures such as ECGs, phlebotomy, wound dressings, and minor operations.
- Provide patient chaperone services as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Good general education background.
- Possession of a Care Certificate.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience as a support worker within an acute clinical environment.
