About the Role
Join Marina Bay Sands and elevate your passion by working alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic environment. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for managing cash float inventory and supporting various financial transactions related to Casino Table Games and Slot Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an impress inventory of cash float accurately.
- Conduct a range of financial transactions including cashing-in and cashing-out gaming chips.
- Handle foreign currency exchanges efficiently.
- Redeem Slot Machine payout tickets, TITO, and vouchers for cash or equivalent.
- Conduct patron account transactions such as safe keeping and front money deposits and refunds.
- Process check cashing, check/marker redemptions, and consolidate balances.
- Facilitate credit card and EFTPOS cash advances.
- Perform rolling chip exchanges and other cashier duties as assigned.
- Ensure balancing of cash float to impress amount at shift completion.
- Accurately perform Team Member Bank functions and preparations of table fills and credits.
- Handle chip transfers among front window, fill banks, and main banks while balancing inventory to casino computer systems.
- Maintain precise and legible balance sheets for all transactions.
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and courteous service to internal and external customers.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and uphold corporate values during all duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Secondary education is preferred.
- No prior experience necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Prior experience handling cash and foreign currencies is preferred.
- Competency in operating electronic cashier tools such as note counters and counterfeit detectors.
- Possess strong numerical skills along with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnight, and public holidays.
