Role Overview
This is a pure outbound prospecting role focused on the SMB market segment. The person in this position will work closely with internal partners such as sales and product managers, industry sales directors, and marketing teams to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities that feed a major part of the sales pipeline across Asia.
The company is seeking driven people who want to build a career in software sales. Prior experience is not mandatory, but strong motivation for technology sales, comfort in a fast-moving environment, and a willingness to exceed expectations are important for success in this goal-driven role.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospects and customers to learn about their business challenges and pain points.
- Create strong sales pipeline value through targeted and strategic outreach to SMB accounts.
- Partner with the sales team to build and refine a list of priority prospects.
- Maintain an active pipeline of leads while delivering a strong customer experience.
Experience and Profile
- Background in business development within the SMB segment, with experience handling prospects from Greater China preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales-related environment.
- A highly competitive, self-driven mindset with the determination to outperform targets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, along with excellent writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Native-level Cantonese ability is strongly preferred because the role primarily covers business in South China.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Working Arrangement
This position follows a hybrid model. Team members are expected to spend part of the week in the local office for in-person collaboration, learning, and connection, while also having flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. The exact office schedule will be set by the hiring manager.
