Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to take charge of operations including recruitment, training, business activities, sales, market expansion, team management, and leadership for our retail insurance segment.
Role Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, and oversee Insurance Consultants, Point of Sales personnel, and Authorized Representative Partners across different regions.
- Coordinate onboarding sessions and continuous training for new and existing staff.
- Drive team development by implementing efficient process services and ensuring operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent certification.
- Strong general business acumen.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in building distribution networks.
- Open to both freshers and experienced professionals.
Work Locations and Hours
- Job locations include Kolkata, Bihar, Assam, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
- Branch office located at Newtown, Kolkata.
- Work from home option available.
- Typical working hours: 8 hours per day.
Compensation and Benefits
- Attractive salary package ranging from ₹19,000 to ₹35,000 monthly comprising basic salary, allowances, PF, medical benefits, incentives, and other perks.
- Additional benefits include PF, ESIC, various incentives (BDI, MPI, DBI, GPI, PR, renewal, SI), official tours, gifts and certificates, foreign tours, promotions, and salary hikes.
Recruitment Process
Candidates will undergo an interview conducted online via Zoom. Selected applicants must complete the IC-38 examination registration under the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
Additional Information
This role offers full managerial responsibilities with no contractual bonds or hidden costs. The initial three months involve sales and team management training, during which earnings depend on achieving sales targets and team activity milestones. Work-from-home facilities are provided by the company.
