Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a rapidly expanding technology company specializing in transaction and platform infrastructure solutions in Australia. This role is based in Melbourne with a hybrid work model and offers a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new revenue streams by targeting specific verticals to discover, qualify, and convert new opportunities within the mid-market segment.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with referral and channel partners to generate scalable revenue.
- Conduct in-depth client discovery sessions to understand their workflows and tailor customized technical and commercial solutions that add significant value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments, including Risk, Compliance, and Product teams, to ensure seamless client onboarding and effective transition processes.
Experience and Requirements
- Minimum of three years' proven experience in selling SaaS, technical, or complex financial/software products.
- Demonstrated capacity to build a sales pipeline independently and close deals within the mid-market.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders such as founders, CEOs, and technical leads.
