Merchick Creation Pvt. Ltd., based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, specializes in manufacturing women's ethnic wear such as kurtis, dresses, gowns, as well as men's shirts, T-shirts, and customized apparel. The company has in-house production facilities staffed by skilled teams and offers extensive customization. Currently, it is expanding its B2B export market internationally across Europe, the UK, USA, and other global regions.
Role Overview
This position is for a seasoned Business Development Executive focused on international sales. The candidate will be responsible for identifying global buyers, generating qualified leads, and nurturing export client relationships. This role emphasizes active international sales engagement rather than domestic sales or telecalling.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research international buyers including importers, wholesalers, fashion and private-label brands, retailers.
- Generate qualified leads using platforms such as LinkedIn, B2B directories, company databases, and trade listings.
- Execute outbound international outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone contacts.
- Engage with decision-makers like purchasing and sourcing managers, business owners.
- Present the company's manufacturing capabilities and diverse product offerings.
- Assess buyer needs to match suitable products and manufacturing solutions.
- Arrange meetings between potential clients and senior management.
- Maintain detailed records of leads and actions within the CRM system.
- Consistently follow up with prospects to convert leads into opportunities.
- Support the quotation, sampling, and negotiation phases with buyers.
- Monitor international market trends and explore fresh business avenues.
Target Client Segments and Markets
- Primary targets include international garment importers, fashion wholesalers, apparel and boutique brands, retailers, private-label companies, buying houses, and distributors.
- Initial geographic focus is on the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and other European nations.
- Secondary focus extends to markets in the USA, Canada, and Australia.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Proven experience in international B2B sales or export development.
- Preferably experience in industries such as garments, apparel, textiles, fabrics, fashion, or home textiles.
- Domestic sales-only experience will not be considered.
- Proficient in spoken and written English with strong international communication capabilities.
- Skills in cold calling, B2B lead generation, email and LinkedIn-based outreach, buyer qualification, follow-up, relationship management, negotiation, and meeting sales targets.
Desired Experience and Tools
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ImportYeti, Alibaba, Fibre2Fashion, IndiaMART.
- Experience using CRM platforms like HubSpot.
