Job Overview
Join Amazon's Quick Commerce team as a Business Analyst managing the topology configurations, deployment executions, and ticket governance essential for the Amazon Now network's expansion. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in managing high-volume deployment workflows, ensuring flawless configuration accuracy across a fast-growing store network.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end topology configuration processes, including setting up store attributes, mapping service areas, configuring fulfillment channels, and verifying readiness for launches across all operational streams.
- Oversee deployment ticket management from initiation to closure, prioritizing tasks based on business importance, ensuring correct sequence, and monitoring SLA compliance consistently.
- Carry out configuration deployments with absolute accuracy by validating inputs against standard operating procedures, performing pre-deployment validations, and confirming post-deployment health before final approval.
- Utilize analytical platforms such as Excel, SQL, and internal dashboards to audit configuration integrity, detect deployment inconsistencies, and produce compliance reports that identify deviations early to prevent customer impact.
- Maintain up-to-date visibility into deployment pipeline status, tracking open versus closed tickets, ageing issues, blocked dependencies, and proactively escalating risks with supporting data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technology teams, vendor management, and site launch teams to resolve configuration dependencies and ensure deployment schedules remain on track.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation for configuration standards, deployment procedures, and exception handling playbooks to promote scalability and consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in data analytics or automation.
- At least one year of experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis, or related functions.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Working knowledge of data pipelining and data extraction techniques using SQL.
- Competency in SQL and Microsoft Excel at moderate to advanced levels.
- Familiarity with data mining tools such as SQL, SAS, or SPSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically in data analytics or process automation is advantageous.
