Business Analyst

Role Summary

Join Reassured as a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst based in Basingstoke, working onsite in a full-time, permanent position. This role is integral to the IT delivery team, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to develop impactful solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system and software enhancement requirements.
• Convert business needs into comprehensive user stories accompanied by explicit acceptance criteria.
• Produce both current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") process documentation to facilitate change management and improvements.
• Oversee and refine product backlog items, assisting in prioritization and delivery scheduling.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure clarity and direction throughout project delivery.
• Lead workshops and facilitate discussions to foster alignment and decision-making among teams.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing activities, including drafting test cases and resolving defects.
• Track project scope and risks to maintain alignment with business goals.
• Participate in ongoing improvements of the business analysis function and related change initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within a delivery-focused setting.
• Strong skills in requirements engineering and documentation.
• Proficient in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Skilled in managing stakeholders confidently with an aptitude to challenge and influence decisions.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience working in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• A proactive, value-driven approach to business solution delivery.

Additional Information
