Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency's Digital Transformation program focused on Defense Automated Addressing Systems. This role involves collaboration across multiple functions, providing Scrum team support, detailed requirements analysis, process documentation, and performing functional testing. The ideal candidate bridges communication between technical and non-technical team members and identifies opportunities to improve internal processes with sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess business processes to anticipate needs, identify improvements, and develop and implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with development and stakeholder teams to analyze and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Perform thorough analysis of business and system requirements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to adhere to project timelines and deliver software that meets client expectations.
• Lead meetings and presentations to communicate findings and ideas effectively.
• Focus on providing solutions beyond the scope of specific roles.
• Coordinate ongoing projects including new developments and enhancements among engineers, developers, analysts, and team members.
• Lead continuous reviews and optimizations of business processes.
• Stay informed of recent advancements in processes and IT systems to support automation and modernization.
• Document and clearly communicate results from efforts and initiatives.
• Benchmark current approaches against industry standards and evolving best practices.
• Flexibly manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Perform related duties or assigned special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education and experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience in agile business requirements or a related field, including demonstrated ability to create user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support users by investigating, communicating, and resolving issues.
• Experience working within Software Development Life Cycle environments and familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
• Knowledge of knowledge management systems, data visualization tools, and related processes.
• Capability to elicit requirements, perform analyses, establish specifications, and validate outcomes within a Scrum framework.
• Experience with ServiceNow is highly preferred.
