Billing Executive

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Billing / Data Entry Operator to handle daily billing, sales and purchase entry, and accounting functions, primarily using MARG ERP or similar software. Candidates adept with Tally or Tally Prime who are eager to learn MARG software are also welcome. The individual will ensure precise and timely billing and accounting data input, maintain proper documentation, and coordinate effectively with sales, purchase, stores, and accounts departments.

Primary Duties

• Generate sales invoices and bills through MARG ERP.
• Input customer orders and create invoices reflecting approved pricing, quantities, discounts, and applicable taxes.
• Verify all invoice details including customer and product info, quantities, rates, discounts, and GST before finalizing invoices.
• Manage billing types such as cash and credit transactions.
• Prepare related documents like delivery challans, credit and debit notes accurately and punctually.
• Amend billing entries with proper authorization and keep records of any cancelled or modified invoices.
• Enter daily transactional data in MARG ERP, including maintaining up-to-date records for customers, suppliers, products, and other masters.
• Record sales and purchase transactions correctly under the right ledger and accounting heads.
• Process purchase invoices and returns in the system, verifying against supporting documentation.

Skills and Requirements

• Hands-on knowledge of MARG ERP is essential; familiarity with Tally or Tally Prime and willingness to learn MARG is acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail to assure data accuracy across billing and accounting entries.
• Ability to handle multiple billing types and various documentation processes.
• Good organizational skills to coordinate among sales, purchase, inventory, and accounts teams.
