Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team in Manipal. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing top-notch coffee beverages, possess knowledge of third-wave coffee brewing methods, and be committed to offering outstanding customer service. This role is central to crafting an exceptional experience for customers and fostering a positive, cooperative workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee drinks and beverages according to Third Wave Coffee’s recipes and established quality criteria.
• Operate and upkeep espresso machines, grinders, and other café tools proficiently.
• Maintain consistent flavor, appearance, and overall quality of beverages.
• Welcome customers warmly, understand their preferences, take orders, and deliver friendly service.
• Explain menu options and suggest appropriate beverage choices to patrons.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, personal grooming, and food safety standards are strictly followed throughout the café.
• Accurately process billing and payments when necessary.
• Assist in food preparation, serving, and other related café activities.
• Monitor and restock ingredients, packaging materials, and café supplies as needed.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for opening, closing, inventory control, waste management, and daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with team members during busy periods to guarantee quick and efficient service.
• Continuously improve knowledge of coffee types, brewing techniques, products, and café offerings.
• Contribute actively to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while upholding the Third Wave Coffee brand values.
