Role Overview

This full-time on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, entails duties crucial to banquet event execution. Responsibilities include setting up event spaces by arranging tables, chairs, linens, and service stations as per event requirements. The server will deliver food and beverages, replenish drinks, clear used plates, and maintain a clean and orderly service area throughout events. The role requires coordination with kitchen personnel and banquet teams, prompt response to guest needs, and ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. Adherence to health, safety standards and company policies is mandatory, along with assisting in post-event disassembly and preparation for subsequent events.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Proficiency in food service and safe handling and serving of meals and beverages.
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities to engage effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly in fast-paced, team environments.
• Previous experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or hotel food service contexts is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to stand for lengthy periods, carry trays and equipment, and adapt to flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with fundamental health, safety, and sanitation practices in food service setups is preferred.
• Educational attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; hospitality or food service vocational training is a plus.
• A professional appearance, dependability, and a positive, customer-focused approach are essential.
