Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director (ACD) for Design to lead the advancement of the SimplePractice brand across multiple channels. Reporting to the Head of Creative and Creative Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Brand, Growth, Web, Product Marketing, and Content Strategy—to develop and execute integrated campaigns that reinforce brand positioning and drive business growth. As part of the Creative Leadership Team, you will guide creative vision, mentor designers, foster innovation including AI-driven workflows, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the creative department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct creative and visual design elements for integrated brand campaigns across product marketing, paid media, lifecycle marketing, social, video, events, and emerging channels.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director, ACD Copy & Content Strategy, Growth, Product Marketing, and other teams to generate innovative campaign ideas that build brand equity and achieve measurable business results.
  • Create emotionally engaging, strategically driven creative work that enhances brand awareness and strengthens customer relationships.
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in concept development, design, prototyping, and art direction, setting exemplary standards for creative quality and leadership.

  • Lead art direction for photography, illustration, motion graphics, and video productions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners including on-set direction.
  • Ensure seamless integration of creative efforts with Web, Copy & Content Strategy, Growth, and Product Marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on design trends, advertising innovations, AI applications, and visual culture to infuse new ideas and best practices into the team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10 to 14 years of professional experience in brand design, art direction, advertising, or integrated creative roles, both agency-side and in-house mediums.
  • Robust portfolio showcasing top-tier creative taste across integrated campaigns, visual identities, digital design, and art direction.
  • Strategic conceptual thinker skilled in crafting integrated campaign ideas and balancing leadership duties with hands-on design execution.
  • Proven ability to link creative concepts to business impact, driving brand awareness and engagement.
  • Strong expertise in typography, layout, storytelling, and design systems.
