The Associate Brand Manager for Moët & Chandon will play an important role in shaping and executing innovative, consumer-focused marketing initiatives aligned with MHUSA’s overarching strategy, focusing on elevating brand desirability and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams including Moët & Chandon, Champagnes & Sparkling, and other stakeholders to align brand activities with company marketing goals and the MHUSA 2030 Strategy.
- Contribute to defining annual U.S. marketing priorities, supporting the creation of major brand programs and campaigns.
- Drive the commercial delivery of marketing programs to achieve volume and profitability targets.
- Assist in the annual brand planning process working closely with senior managers and cross-functional teams such as Consumer Engagement, Commercial, and Consumer Insights.
- Manage the A&P budget deployment strategy ensuring prioritization and tracking against brand goals.
- Work with Trade Marketing and agencies to create premium point-of-sale materials and brand assets that enhance consumer engagement at purchase points.
- Partner with various teams including Field & Trade Marketing, Commercial, and National Accounts to execute brand programs consistently reflecting luxury brand messaging and local market opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Strategy & Business Planning, and Corporate Communications & Insights to monitor program performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Maintain awareness of brand health and consumer insights through partnership with Centers of Excellence and Business Intelligence teams, communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Oversee project timelines ensuring timely delivery of brand assets, tools, and POS materials aligned with quarterly milestones.
- Build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external agency partners to optimize strategy, execution, and workflow.
- Adapt flexibly to evolving business needs and proactively solve challenges in coordination with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of brand marketing experience primarily in consumer-packaged goods or luxury sectors. Experience in wines and spirits is advantageous.
- Ability to work comfortably across organizational levels and adapt to various work styles.
- Strong business and financial acumen with expertise in budget management.
- Analytical mindset to support decisions based on data.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confidence in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel; Photoshop skills are a plus.
- Understanding of the U.S. three-tier distribution system is beneficial.
Additional Information and Benefits
The role is hybrid, based in the New York City office three days per week.
Annual compensation ranges between $92,000 and $115,000, plus bonus opportunities.
