Role Overview

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our North Sydney location, you will be instrumental in maintaining exceptional standards across the restaurant. Your responsibilities extend to enhancing customer experience, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring financial objectives are met.

Daily Responsibilities

• Oversee all team activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and addressing employee concerns.
• Lead and motivate the team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure all food items are prepared, presented, and served with impeccable quality.
• Exercise commercial acumen by managing costs related to goods and labor to protect profitability.
• Manage inventory by placing orders with suppliers as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks such as documentation, banking, cash management, and payroll.
• Supervise daily and weekly cleaning routines to maintain hygiene standards.
• Uphold safety and security protocols, ensuring all employees are trained in Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
