Position Overview
Join Camp Australia as an Assistant Service Leader at our Mount Barker centre, dedicated to fostering a nurturing and secure environment where primary school children can unwind, enjoy themselves, and thrive. Your role involves designing and maintaining a vibrant, safe, and standards-compliant program that supports children's growth before and after school as well as during holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain engaging daily activities tailored for primary-aged children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious and tasty snacks.
- Cultivate strong, positive relationships with children, their families, and the school community.

Candidate Profile
- Possess an enthusiastic, dynamic approach to childcare supported by strong interpersonal skills.
- Have completed or be in progress toward a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.
- Completed National Child Safety Training or prepared to complete as necessary.
- Maintain current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications or demonstrate willingness to acquire them.
- Available to work Monday through Friday during early mornings (6:30 am to 8:45 am) and afternoons (2:45 pm to 6:30 pm).
- Hold or be willing to obtain Child Protection training certificate RRHAN-MC and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
