Job description
Overview
Join Autograph Collection in Doha as an Assistant HR & Training Manager dedicated to supporting employee relations, recruitment compliance, training, and performance management within a unique collection of independent hotels. This role is positioned in the Diplomatic Street area of West Bay, Doha.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring and tracking of employee relations concerns, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up actions.
- Assist management and leadership teams in addressing and resolving HR-related matters.
- Oversee hiring and recruitment procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, federal laws, company policies, and standards.
- Inform HR management about significant employee relations issues as they arise.
- Provide responses to employee and managerial inquiries regarding company and HR policies and programs.
- Disseminate information related to employment relations, personnel policies, and employee activities.
- Maintain precise employee records, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Coordinate logistics and administration for annual employee surveys.
- Manage telephone communications and messages professionally.
- Assist in recruitment activities such as hiring, training coordination, scheduling, staff evaluations, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Adhere to all company safety and security policies, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information and welcome guests according to company standards.
- Communicate professionally and maintain positive working relationships to support team goals.
- Utilize computer systems and point of sale systems to access work-related information.
- Perform physical tasks including moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Educational requirement: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience, including supervisory duties.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
