Role Overview

The position of Assistant AC Technician - Fresher, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a full-time, on-site role. This opportunity is designed to support senior air conditioning technicians through assistance in routine inspections, installations, and maintenance tasks related to AC units and systems in residential and mixed-use buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing basic air conditioning issues.
• Conduct tasks such as filter cleaning and checking refrigerant levels under supervision.
• Support minor repairs and system adjustments as directed.
• Help maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to established safety procedures.
• Document work activities per instructions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic ability to support troubleshooting and diagnostics of AC systems under guidance.
• Foundational understanding of electrical principles and safe handling of electrical components in HVAC contexts.
• Interest or exposure to preventive maintenance for AC and building systems.
• General knowledge of building services like plumbing and their links with HVAC.
• Aware of environmental and safety standards; willingness to pursue EPA or related certifications is advantageous.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
• Capacity to follow directions, work safely, and collaborate within a diverse team.
• Physical ability to perform fieldwork involving lifting, climbing, and working under varied environmental conditions.
• Basic proficiency in English communication; additional languages are a bonus.

Compensation

Salary range is AED 1300 to AED 1800 monthly, commensurate with experience, along with benefits.
