Assembly Engineer - Industrial Valves & Fire Protection Systems

Role Overview

As an Assembly Engineer at Inteegrity Solutions, you will oversee the assembly and packaging processes of industrial valves and fire protection systems. This role involves meeting production schedules and delivery deadlines while maintaining close coordination with various internal teams. You will be responsible for updating ERP systems, managing inventory using FIFO methods, and controlling work-in-progress (WIP) materials. Leadership of shop floor manpower, handling audits, compiling reports, and driving process improvements are key to this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly line and packing activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Achieve production targets and adhere to delivery commitments.
• Liaise with Production Planning and Control (PPC), Stores, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain ERP system updates for accurate tracking of inventory and production progress.
• Implement FIFO stocking and closely monitor WIP to streamline operations.
• Lead manpower management, conduct audits, prepare operational reports, and initiate process enhancements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Proven experience in valve assembly and fire protection system manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of production planning, enterprise resource planning (ERP), inventory control, and shop floor activities.
• Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), quality standards compliance, and team leadership capabilities.

Eligibility

Applicants should possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
