Architectural Drafter

About the Role

Zawaya Albina Engineering Consultancy (ZACO) seeks a skilled Architectural Drafter to join its Riyadh team. This role involves creating detailed architectural drawings and construction documents aligned with approved designs and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
• Build architectural models and prepare drawings using Revit software.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Revise and update drawings following project requirements and design changes.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and assemble submission packages.
• Ensure all drawings conform to project standards, Saudi Building Code, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain precision, quality, and proper documentation of all drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to complete tasks effectively.
• Assist in preparing drawings for submissions to municipal and regulatory authorities.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience within engineering consultancy firms in Saudi Arabia.
• Mandatory proficiency in Revit software.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD usage.
• Expertise in architectural drafting, modeling, and detailed technical documentation.
• Solid knowledge of architectural drawing conventions and construction documentation practices.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and local authority regulations.
• High attention to detail and reliable in meeting project deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is an advantage.
