The Travel Retail Architect Specialist is instrumental in shaping and delivering Dior Parfums retail projects within travel retail environments. This role requires combining strategic project management with deep architectural expertise across varying store formats and project complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead flagship retail projects as Project Manager from initial scope through execution, handover, and post-opening assessment.
• Act as Design Specialist on B and C-level projects, creating and modifying technical architectural plans adapted to local requirements.
• Maintain a consistent design approach across all projects, adjusted according to scale, budget, and operations.
• Convert design concepts into comprehensive construction documentation, considering feasibility, regulations, and technical constraints.
• Produce architectural layouts and technical documents aligned with creative briefs and brand standards.
• Review designs, materials, finishes, and technical solutions ensuring quality, durability, and brand integrity.
• Assist in selecting materials and finishes balancing aesthetics, function, and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with headquarters, purchasers, visual merchandising, construction teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Serve as primary liaison for stakeholders, fostering accountability throughout project lifecycles.
• Support tender processes, procurement, site monitoring, and implementation phases.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, address technical challenges, and adjust plans to meet timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct site visits to verify design compliance, supervise execution quality, and prepare detailed reports for headquarters.
• Tackle onsite issues promptly with pragmatic, compliant solutions.
• Ensure projects comply with Maison standards, local regulations, and sustainability targets.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables tailored to project complexity.
• Assist in budget oversight and design-to-cost strategies, particularly for flagship initiatives.
• Track key project performance metrics including timelines, costs, quality, and operational readiness.
• Provide structured updates to management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.
• Align all project outcomes with the Maison’s brand image, client experience goals, and operational requirements.
• Adapt global architectural guidelines for local market conditions and statutory regulations.
• Communicate project technicalities, priorities, and timelines effectively with all partners involved.

Candidate Profile

• A qualified architect with 4 to 5 years of experience in retail design, preferably within beauty and cosmetics sectors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of general contracting practices, construction processes, and site execution oversight.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on design quality and aesthetics.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and external partners.
• Demonstrates ownership, responsibility, and accountability throughout project phases.
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a high-paced environment.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and strong team spirit.
