About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Applied Quantitative Analyst to assist in training AI models. The primary responsibility is to assess and enhance the performance of AI chatbots by providing them with diverse mathematical problems and evaluating their reasoning and solutions to improve model quality.
Responsibilities
- Present AI chatbots with a wide range of complex mathematical problems.
- Assess the chatbot outputs for logical accuracy and overall quality.
- Continuously evaluate and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
- Native or bilingual fluency in English.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Expertise in statistics, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, and inductive/deductive reasoning.
- Preferred candidates have a completed, in progress, or partial Master's or PhD degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Additional Information
- This is an independent contractor position based in Australia; only Australian applicants will be considered.
- Contractors may select projects and set their own schedules working remotely on their own computer.
- Compensation starts at 40 USD per hour with potential bonus rates depending on the project.
