Position Summary

We are seeking an outstanding AI Scientist to lead the creation and enhancement of our core biomolecular modeling technologies. The role involves crafting and refining foundational models that drive Nabla's capabilities for therapeutic design, encompassing architecture development, training, and experimental verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and assess novel training datasets, model architectures, training methodologies, and loss functions for biomolecular generation and prediction.
• Lead significant advancements in generative and predictive performance informed by experimental feedback.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to transition models into production for both internal usage and pharmaceutical partner workflows.
• Keep abreast of the latest advances in machine learning, protein modeling, and sequence design, and contribute to pushing these frontiers forward.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in deep learning model development; experience in generative modeling, protein or biomolecular machine learning, or large-scale sequence modeling is advantageous.
• Proficient in Python programming and PyTorch framework.
• Experienced in distributed training and scaling of large models within high-performance computing or cloud environments.
• Demonstrated creativity, precision, and leadership in machine learning research.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with experimental scientists to link computational model outcomes with biological results.
