AI Operations Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Executive who will be instrumental in managing daily operational workflows, ensuring high data quality, enhancing process efficiencies, and generating performance reports. This role requires collaboration across various teams to guarantee smooth process execution, precise data management, and continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor routine operational workflows to assure prompt and accurate completion.
• Liaise with internal departments to address and resolve operational challenges, maintaining fluid processes.
• Detect and report on process inefficiencies, gaps, or repetitive issues.
• Assist with establishing and refining standard operating procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and control versions of operational workflows.
• Audit outputs to confirm they meet quality and compliance standards.
• Perform regular checks and quality audits on processes and datasets.
• Spot errors, inconsistencies, and deviations from prescribed processes.
• Monitor operational metrics and recommend necessary corrective measures.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and operational guidelines.
• Utilize Python (Pandas, NumPy) to manipulate, cleanse, and analyze operational data.
• Execute advanced SQL queries to extract data, monitor performance, and reveal operational trends.
• Employ advanced Excel features including pivot tables, lookup formulas, dashboards, and data validation techniques.
• Compile regular reports and dashboards for operational performance monitoring.
• Validate and reconcile data to maintain its integrity for decision-making.
• Conduct root-cause investigations of operational discrepancies and performance issues.
• Recommend actionable process enhancements based on data insights.
• Support automation efforts and optimize repetitive processes within operations.
• Contribute actively to ongoing initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency, quality, and turnaround speed.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in operations, data analytics, technical or business operations roles.
• Proficient hands-on skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy), advanced SQL querying, and advanced Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards, and data cleaning.
• Background in data analysis, process monitoring, experimentation, or A/B testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Solid understanding of operational workflows and process management principles.
• Meticulous attention to detail ensuring data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to generative AI models such as GPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Fundamental knowledge of AI concepts including parameters like temperature, tokens, and context window.
• Previous roles in AI operations, trust and safety, content moderation, or risk analysis.
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation, quality assurance frameworks, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with automation tools and process optimization techniques.

Work Environment

• Work location: Embassy Tech Park, Bellandur, Bangalore.
