Job description
Overview
Birbal AI is seeking an experienced professional to join as an AI Governance, Risk & Responsible AI Specialist based in Abu Dhabi. The role demands expertise in governance, risk management, compliance, data governance, and AI ethics to guide organizations in adopting and implementing responsible AI frameworks.
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in governance, risk management, compliance, data governance, or AI ethics.
- Successfully designed and had adopted at least two AI governance, Responsible AI, or model governance frameworks within client organizations.
- Maintain proficiency in at least two authoritative AI frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OECD AI Principles, EU AI Act risk classification, or ISO/IEC 23894.
- Develop stage-gate or approval processes featuring clear decision-making authority and RACI matrices.
- Define requirements regarding explainability, bias evaluation, and human oversight for AI systems deployed in production.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Exceptional policy and framework drafting capabilities.
