Admission Counsellor

About the Role

The Admission Counsellor at Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) is responsible for guiding prospective students and their parents through the range of educational programs offered, including NEET, JEE, and Foundation courses. This role demands understanding individual student needs and promoting suitable Aakash programs to convert inquiries into actual admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide detailed counselling to students and parents regarding course offerings, career options, fee structure, scholarship opportunities, and batch schedules.
• Manage and respond to various lead sources such as walk-ins, phone inquiries, and online leads with prompt follow-ups.
• Maintain and update accurate information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Meet and surpass monthly and quarterly admission goals by converting prospects into enrolled students.
• Collaborate seamlessly with academic and operational teams to facilitate smooth student onboarding.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with students and parents to foster trust and brand loyalty.
• Address and resolve student and parent queries and concerns efficiently, upholding a positive image of AESL.
• Engage actively in marketing initiatives including seminars, school visitations, educational fairs, promotional activities, and scholarship test events.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Any graduate degree is mandatory.
• Between 1 to 6 years of experience in education counselling or sales is preferred.
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills with a focus on targets and results.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as MS Office and CRM software.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 35,000 to 85,000 Indian Rupees.
