Note: This role is for a position at an independently owned and operated franchised/affiliate store.

Role Overview

The Systems Teammate is tasked with professionally, accurately, and promptly performing all position responsibilities. This role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, promoting customer loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and fostering a workplace environment that encourages engagement from both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health and Safety standards, corporate policies, and related programs.
  • Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented work area consistently.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, staying aware of product updates and seasonal changes.
  • Utilize appropriate computer systems and pricing software to input pricing data and activate price changes effectively.
  • Monitor and adjust discontinued and deleted items timely and accurately.
  • Verify shelf tags against computer files, warehouse prices, and detailed order logs.
  • Review daily price change reports and reconcile price change batches.
  • Import data from file servers, verify changes, and transfer data to Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Create and display shelf labels, signage, and product displays adhering to company standards.
  • Generate various item reports and forward them to relevant departments.
  • Provide training to junior team members when required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Capability to work independently within a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven with demonstrated initiative and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and implement Store Operating Procedures effectively.
  • Previous experience in a grocery store setting is an advantage.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching.
