About the Role
Babli, a rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand, is seeking to expand its Accounts and Finance department. We are recruiting for two roles based in Khokra, Ahmedabad, both requiring on-site presence:
- Junior Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience
- Accounts & Finance Manager with more than 3 years of experience
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must have a solid grounding in fundamental accounting principles, including managing debits, credits, assets, liabilities, preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and journal entries. Expertise in GST and TDS compliance and filing returns is essential. They will be responsible for finalizing accounts and coordinating audits and compliance activities with chartered accountants.
Advanced proficiency in Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, formulas, data management, and CSV file manipulation is required. Responsibilities also include reconciling bank statements and performing net banking transactional management, as well as reconciling orders, payments, returns, COD, prepaid orders, and payment gateway settlements.
Applicants should be adept at identifying inconsistencies in reconciliations, handling large volumes of financial and operational data, and preferably have experience with ERP systems like Logic ERP. Prior exposure to e-commerce, D2C, retail, or garment sectors is advantageous.
For senior roles, additional responsibilities include preparing MIS reports, managing cash flows, analyzing profitability and P&L statements, budgeting and financial planning, and delivering insightful financial reports for strategic decision making.
