About the Company
Join a reputed Event Management firm located in Nungambakkam, Chennai, primarily seeking female candidates for the accounting role.
Role Overview
The accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records meticulously, handling accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. They will prepare and audit financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain detailed financial records encompassing accounts payable/receivable as well as the general ledger.
- Compile and verify financial statements like balance sheets, income and cash flow reports.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations by preparing and submitting timely GST and TDS tax returns.
- Utilize Tally software to keep all financial transaction records precise and current.
Experience and Skills Required
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounting or a related financial domain.
- Strong command over GST, income tax, TDS, and other taxation matters.
- Proficiency in Tally and in-depth understanding of accounting principles and standards.
