About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive to join our team at Foster Logistics in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with taxation laws, and assisting in audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle GST return filings, perform reconciliations, and ensure GST compliance.
- Prepare and file Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns accurately and on time.
- Manage accounting records including entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Support Income Tax filing processes and statutory audit activities.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and government authorities to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure all taxation and accounting obligations are met within stipulated deadlines.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and prepare financial statements.
