Accountant

Role overview

Impact is hiring an Accountant to work within the Finance & Accounting Team and report to the Accounting Manager. The position is responsible for keeping accounting operations accurate and compliant, maintaining reliable financial records, and delivering reports on time in line with internal policies and accounting standards.

The company is looking for someone organized, detail-focused, and able to manage accounting tasks independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and check routine accounting transactions while following accepted accounting rules.
• Carry out bank reconciliations on a regular basis and investigate any mismatches.
• Draft financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Keep the general ledger and related financial records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare invoices for clients, partners, and vendors according to company procedures.
• Track receivables and follow up on collections to help maintain healthy cash flow.
• Handle payments, expense processing, and payroll activities together with the finance team.
• Maintain tax-related schedules and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with closing activities at month end and year end.
• Work with internal teams to gather financial documents and meet accounting needs.
• Contribute ideas to improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and efficiency.
• Provide financial information and analysis that supports management decisions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Solid knowledge of core accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software.
• Understanding of tax rules and compliance obligations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work on your own and manage several priorities at once.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Preferred skills

• Hands-on exposure to ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite or similar tools.
• Knowledge of financial controls and internal audit practices.
• Ability to build clear, structured reports for management.
