Role Overview
The Account Manager will lead Amazic’s efforts to grow its presence in Saudi Arabia by acquiring new customers and engaging channel partners. The role focuses on enterprise sales of advanced infrastructure, DevSecOps, security, database, and productivity software, representing key vendors such as GitLab, MariaDB, Teleport, and Superhuman.
Key Responsibilities
- Target and secure new enterprise and mid-market clients throughout KSA.
- Identify prospects, engage stakeholders, and close sales via direct and partner interactions.
- Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and IT decision makers in DevOps, Security, and related domains.
- Advocate for Amazic’s offerings including GitLab (DevSecOps & CI/CD), MariaDB (open-source databases), Teleport (secure access and identity infrastructure), and Superhuman (productivity tools).
- Conduct onsite customer presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal pre-sales, marketing, resellers, and vendor teams to drive deal success.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM data.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
- 3 to 7 years’ experience in IT sales, enterprise software, or channel sales.
- Extensive network of enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
- Proven success in acquiring new business and closing deals.
- Comfortable engaging in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Familiarity with at least one of these areas: DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Databases, or Data platforms.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel across KSA.
- Experience working with distributors and channel sales ecosystems.
- Understanding of DevSecOps concepts and cloud-native tools.
- Previous dealings with GitLab, database, or security software vendors preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced startup or growth environments.
