Role Overview
Amid business expansion, Vulcan seeks a skilled Account Manager to join their team, focusing on selling aluminium and stainless steel products within Western New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and cultivate new business prospects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an existing client portfolio.
- Examine industry information and stay current with market trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients and internal sales teams.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to secure optimal client solutions.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of Vulcan’s offerings to facilitate cross-selling.
- Engage in cold calling efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales or a background in steel manufacturing with an interest in sales.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- A proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Competent with intermediate-level computer skills.
The role includes travel across Western NSW with occasional overnight stays. Health and safety standards require candidates to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
