About the Internship
This internship opportunity focuses on creating engaging podcast episodes and storytelling content, centered on social themes and important initiatives aligned with Kartavyam's mission to uphold the rule of law. Candidates will be involved in all stages of content creation, from ideation and research to script development and coordination with production teams. The stories produced must reflect ethical considerations and sensitivity towards the social contexts and beneficiaries involved.
Responsibilities
- Design podcast episode concepts or storytelling formats highlighting social issues and initiatives.
- Research relevant topics, beneficiary narratives, and impact stories.
- Write scripts, outlines, and develop story arcs.
- Conduct interviews with volunteers, beneficiaries, or subject matter experts, either virtually or in-person if needed.
- Work closely with audio editors and campaign teams to produce quality episodes.
- Assist with recording sessions and provide narration support.
- Ensure ethical presentation of stories with respect to social sensitivities.
- Contribute narrative content to support awareness campaigns.
- Revise content in response to team feedback.
- Guarantee all output is consistent with Kartavyam's core values and mission.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability to work remotely throughout the 2-month internship period.
- Able to commence between July 18, 2026, and August 22, 2026.
- Strong creative and narrative-building skills.
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with podcasting or audio storytelling is preferred.
- Research aptitude and interviewing capabilities.
- Ability to organize stories logically and engagingly.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Sensitivity towards social issues and the experiences of beneficiaries.
