About the Internship
Join SqM Technologies as a Mechanical Engineering intern and immerse yourself in innovative projects related to embedded product engineering and FPGA controller-based design, primarily for medical and industrial automation applications. This role demands proficiency with key design and modeling software like SolidWorks, Catia, Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and MS-Office to contribute effectively to our product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to design and analyze mechanical systems.
- Develop detailed two-dimensional and three-dimensional models using SolidWorks, Catia, and AutoCAD.
- Perform simulations and testing to verify designs and improve system performance.
- Support prototyping activities, conduct tests, and assist in troubleshooting mechanical components.
- Clearly document designs and communicate engineering concepts and solutions.
- Engage actively in design reviews and offer constructive feedback.
- Contribute effectively to engineering projects ensuring timely delivery of quality outcomes.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be enrolled as a Mechanical Engineering student.
- Available to commit to a full-time, in-office internship.
- Ready to commence internship between 13th July 2026 and 17th August 2026.
- Capable of dedicating six months to the internship duration.
- Possess relevant skills and a keen interest in mechanical design and product development.
