About the internship
This role is focused on end-to-end hiring and onboarding support for an EdTech startup. The intern will help source and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage new-joiner documentation and induction activities. The position also includes talent research, pipeline building, and employer-branding support.
What you'll do
- Handle the recruitment process from candidate sourcing through onboarding.
- Hire for roles across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Training, Finance, HR, Placements, and other EdTech functions.
- Identify prospects on LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, Apna, Broxer, and similar hiring channels.
- Share job openings across multiple recruitment platforms and channels.
- Review resumes and narrow down suitable profiles.
- Run HR screening conversations and coordinate technical and final interviews.
- Keep recruitment trackers and hiring reports updated.
- Support the onboarding flow for new hires.
- Verify joining documents and collect all required paperwork.
- Draft offer letters and other onboarding documents.
- Conduct orientation sessions and company induction for new employees.
- Work with department managers to make onboarding smooth and timely.
- Ensure all joining formalities are completed before the employee’s first working day.
- Research and identify potential candidates through LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Maintain an active talent pipeline for current and upcoming hiring needs.
- Contact passive candidates through LinkedIn, email, and other communication tools.
- Study competitor organizations to spot possible talent sources.
- Arrange interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate databases and ATS/CRM records.
- Monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and joining rate.
- Build connections with colleges, universities, and placement cells for internship and fresher hiring.
- Support employer-branding efforts on LinkedIn and social media.
Who can apply
Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time, in-office internship. Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to source candidates effectively using LinkedIn Recruiter and other hiring platforms.
- Understanding of recruitment methods and interview practices.
- Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Comfort with managing multiple tasks and meeting hiring timelines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and HR documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving startup or EdTech environment.

Compensation
The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 10,000 to 22,000. The pay structure is split into fixed compensation of INR 8,000 to 12,000 per month and incentive pay of INR 2,000 to 10,000 per month.
