This internship focuses on advancing computer vision technologies within the food technology domain. The intern will contribute to designing systems that identify food ingredients, their shapes, sizes, and variants using state-of-the-art AI models. The role involves creating and refining extensive culinary datasets, training and deploying computer vision models on embedded devices, and combining sensor data to enhance model accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision solutions tailored for food identification and classification tasks.
- Construct base-level AI models for autonomous cooking systems.
- Build, maintain, and expand large datasets related to culinary ingredients and characteristics for AI training.
- Train, fine-tune, and deploy models on edge computing devices such as single-board computers.
- Integrate vision data with other sensory inputs to improve overall system performance.
- Conduct data analysis to detect quality and quantity gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Document technical details covering models, datasets, and workflows comprehensively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and culinary specialists to innovate and improve AI-driven cooking technologies.
