Weighbridge Operator

Role overview

A leading waste management business in Western Australia is looking for an experienced and driven Weighbridge Operator to join its Welshpool team. The position has become available because the company has expanded recently, and the employer is seeking someone who can manage weighbridge activity accurately while supporting customers and administration tasks.

Key duties

• Record and process all vehicles arriving at and leaving the site.
• Use a computerised weighbridge platform to capture accurate weights for inbound and outbound loads.
• Respond to customer questions and deliver a consistently high standard of service.
• Handle everyday administrative work, including data entry and docket processing.
• Generate reports from the weighbridge system when needed.
• Keep the weighbridge, surrounding work area and office clean, organised and free from hazards.
• Support the Weighbridge Office Coordinator with additional tasks as required.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will already have experience operating a weighbridge. Experience using Mandalay is considered a strong advantage. The role also calls for strong accuracy, the ability to handle several tasks at once, and well-developed coordination, scheduling, monitoring, written communication and verbal communication skills.
